How It Works
The Reclaim system draws heat from the surrounding air and transfers it to water through a CO₂ refrigerant heat exchange process. For every 1 kW of electricity used, the system produces up to 5 kW of thermal energy giving you maximum output from minimal input. Unlike traditional electric water heaters, there’s no need for a booster element, even in cold climates, making it ideal for all Australian conditions.
Massive Energy Savings
A standard 315 L electric hot water tank uses about 15 kWh per day. In comparison, the Reclaim CO₂ Heat Pump requires only around 3 kWh for the same amount of hot water. When paired with solar PV, it effectively becomes a virtual battery, using excess solar energy during the day to heat your water reducing your power bills and reliance on the grid.
