9-Layer 19" Rack for Deye BOS-G Battery Systems

The Deye 3U-LRACK is a tall, 19-inch metal rack made to hold Deye’s BOS-G high-voltage batteries. It can fit 8 BOS-G 5.12 kWh battery modules plus 1 high-voltage control box in one neat cabinet, for a clean, safe indoor battery setup.

BSC Renewables uses this rack when building larger, rack-style battery systems for homes, farms and businesses.

What the 3U-LRACK Actually Is

It’s a standard 19″ battery rack made for Deye’s 3U battery modules. It can hold:

  • 8 × BOS-GM5.1 5.12 kWh batteries, and

  • 1 × high-voltage battery cluster control box (HVB750V/100A).

It’s designed for indoor use, in a plant room, garage or battery room. Think of it as the “battery cupboard” for your Deye BOS-G system – everything in one place, not scattered around the room.

Why Use a Proper Deye Battery Rack?

1. Keeps Everything Neat and Organised

Because the rack is designed by Deye for Deye batteries:

  • Each battery and the HV box slides into its own slot.

  • Cables can be run short and tidy inside the rack.

For you, that means:

  • The battery bank looks clean and professional, not like a stack of boxes on shelves.

  • It’s easier to see what’s what if anything ever needs checking or replacing.

2. Built for BOS-G High-Voltage Systems

In Deye’s small-scale C&I (commercial and industrial) storage docs, the 3U-LRACK is shown as part of the BOS-G high-voltage system: up to 3–12 BOS-GM5.1 modules in series per rack.

So it’s ideal if you:

  • Want more storage than a single wall battery, or

  • Are running a larger home, farm or small business with higher energy needs.

The rack helps BSC Renewables build your BOS-G system in a way that’s easy to expand later if you need more storage.

3. Compact Footprint, Big Capacity

Deye lists the rack size as: 530 × 602 × 1629 mm (W × D × H) and about 41 kg empty.

So you get:

  • A tall, narrow cabinet that fits nicely in a corner or along a wall.

  • Room for up to 8 batteries plus the HV box in that one footprint.

It’s a simple way to keep plenty of storage in a small floor area.

4. Optional Front Door

The LRACK can be supplied with an optional door.

This lets you choose:

  • Open front – easier access and visibility, or

  • Door fitted – a cleaner look and an extra layer of physical protection.

BSC Renewables can recommend which option is better for your site.

How BSC Renewables Uses the 3U-LRACK

When BSC Renewables designs a BOS-G system with a 3U-LRACK, they will:

  1. Work out how many batteries you need

    • Choose how many BOS-GM5.1 modules go in each rack, based on your bills and usage.

  2. Install the rack in the right spot

    • Place it in a safe indoor area with good access and ventilation.

  3. Load in batteries and the HV box

    • Slide the BOS-G batteries and the HVB750V/100A into their slots.

    • Run the wiring as shown in Deye’s official diagrams.

  4. Commission and label everything

    • Make sure the inverter can see the full battery bank.

    • Label the rack and batteries so future checks and upgrades are simple.
